Welcome aboard Alba, a 1956 Bermudan yawl designed on Broadway in New York at the Philip Rhodes drafting office and built with precision by Abeking & Rasmussen in Germany. Now moored in the marina of Barcelona, Alba carries the spirit of classic ocean cruising and the enduring romance of mid-century yacht design. This site is a celebration of her journey, craftsmanship, and the quiet beauty of life under sail.
Alba is available for film and photography shoots.

Captain’s note
Sailing Alba is like stepping into another time—when boats were built to be both beautiful and seaworthy, and every detail was crafted with intention. She has a calm, confident presence on the water that’s rare to find, and even rarer to own.
I’ve been around boats my whole life, but Alba is something truly special. It’s a privilege to be her current custodian—to care for her, sail her, and continue her story. Every time I take the helm, I feel a deep responsibility to preserve her legacy and share the joy of sailing a yacht that still turns heads and hearts wherever she goes.
